Welcome to the HTML & CSS Course
In this course you learn step by step how to build websites with HTML and style them with CSS. We start with simple page structure, text, links and images. After that we work toward layout, color, responsive design and small projects.
This course is for beginners who want to understand how websites work and how to build clean pages themselves. You do not need programming experience to start.
Required software
- A simple code editor, for example Visual Studio Code or Notepad++
- A web browser, such as Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari
- Optionally a folder on your computer where you keep all HTML and CSS files
- HTML tags and page structure
- Using images and links
- Adding CSS to a page
- Colors, spacing and typography
- Lists, tables, ids and classes
- Flexbox, grid and responsive layouts
