Hello! I'm Mike — immortal, questioning and always listening. Trainer, developer and explorer of technology. Based in Haarlem — a suburb of Amsterdam.

For more than 15 years, I have trained professionals in web design and web development. My courses are given on-site throughout the Netherlands and are attended by government agencies, military personnel, medical staff, publishers, designers, communication specialists and freelancers.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Applied Computer Science and I am an Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver and Flash. I am also a Certified Associate in Python Programming (PCAP).

I publish free Dutch online courses where you can learn practical digital skills:

• Adobe DTP
• WordPress
• SQL
• Python

Practical certifications include Extended First Aid, PADI Open Water Diver, Sailing Licenses I and II, VHF Marine Radio (SRC) and the European Chainsaw Certificate I and II.

In my spare time I tinker with Arduino and Raspberry Pi, DJ with timecode vinyl, work on my Land Rover Defender, play Mahjong and practice Archery — leaving very little time for actual work.
